Bob Potvin’s biography Bob Potvin, the company founder, is the On the Common Community blogger for the Worcester Telegram. Bob Potvin is native to the Brookfields. His forebears first came to West Brookfield in 1868, moving to North Brookfield the next year. The Potvin/Poulin heritage is that of shoe making and home building in the Brookfields. For some twenty years Bob ran a successful antique estate auction business at “Blair House,” West Brookfield.Dealing in gold and silver coins has been Bob’s specialty since 1955. This is his Gold website which also provides up to the date weather resources. Bob also has restored antique New England houses in the Brookfields and built the Solomon P. Richardson house (c.1747) Old Sturbridge Village Reproduction. Bob earned his Bachelors Degree from Saint Louis University and is a Vietnam Veteran.
